System Administrator

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (Remote 1-2 days a week)
MONTGOMERY, AL

Overview:

We are seeking a well-rounded System Administrator with 5+ years of experience who is detail-oriented and proactive in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring our systems are secure, efficient, and reliable, while also providing technical support to our team. You should have a solid background in system administration with specific experience in Azure, Microsoft 365, and Teams, and be ready to tackle a variety of technical challenges.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in system administration or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of server and network administration.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and Teams administration.
• Proficiency with virtualization, cloud services, and system automation tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in providing technical support and resolving complex issues.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with the latest technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues.
• Provide advanced technical support to users as needed, addressing complex issues.
• Administer and manage Azure services, Microsoft 365, and Teams, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Implement security best practices and manage backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of new systems and upgrades.
• Collaborate with other staff to support various projects and initiatives.
• Document IT procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
