Emmons School District 33 Description: The building secretary is in charge of all aspects of the day to day operations of the school building including attendance, dismissal changes, greeting and attending to visitiors and phone calls, and scheduling routine and special events. This person will also be in charge of registration, monitoring the substitute system, maintaining calendars, communicating with bus services, and working with administration. This is a 10 month position.



Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum two years experience in office procedure or demonstrated competence in related field
• Strong secretarial skills, including typing, filing, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Google Apps Suite
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and discretion in performing duties

Terms of Employment:

• 200 days, 10 months
• The hours are 7:15am- 3:45pm
