Job Description

Role Summary:

The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs; collaborating closely with customers, owners, general contractors, engineering, project managers, subcontractors, and

suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive estimates are provided.

Required skills and abilities:

• Must have at least (5) years of Electrical Estimating Experience with a strong background in industrial and commercial construction projects.
• Ability to analyze and interpret project plans and specifications to create comprehensive cost estimates.
• Proficient in interpreting and analyzing construction drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work on multiple estimates and manage your time to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Proficiency in English is essential for communication with clients and team members.

Education and experience:

• Must have experience with Electrical estimating software and performing estimations.
• Experience with Conest estimating software is a plus.
• Experience with software such as Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Excel, Word and Cloud based software such as Dropbox, Google sheets.
• AutoCad is useful, but not required.
