Senior Commercial Account Manager - Client Manager
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (based on experience, insurance knowledge, and education)

A well-established independent insurance agency is looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to support and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts. In this role, you'll provide excellent client service by addressing policy and coverage questions, offering expert advice on risk management, and working closely with both producers and carrier underwriters.

You'll manage a range of clients, including contractors, manufacturers, distributors, and property owners, across various types of coverage such as Property, Liability, Auto, Umbrella/Excess, Workers' Compensation, Cyber, EPL, and D&O. We're seeking a Senior Account Manager who is both technically proficient and service-oriented, ready to take on a leadership role in client management.

Once the training and probationary period are complete, there is potential for this position to be partially remote.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a range of Property and Casualty accounts, including manufacturers, distributors, and property owners.
- Address client policy and coverage inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses.
- Market and quote new business and renewals, ensuring competitive coverage and cost ratios for clients.
- Work with multiple carrier underwriters and online rating portals to obtain the best coverage options.
- Compile and manage information necessary for account renewals, ensuring everything is handled efficiently.

Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on servicing commercial accounts.
- Property and Casualty license is required.
- Insurance designations such as CIC, CPCU, or others are a plus.
- Experience with Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360 software; AMS360 preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance and/or brokerage business.
- Technical expertise in product areas or industries relevant to the accounts.
- Ability to provide expert risk management consultation and advice.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
